sinsynplus – Generative Soundscape
An abstract VJ set focusing on generative, audio-reactive code and real-time manipulated 3D content.
Branching from generative art, this set’s visuals are created by translating pure, playful concepts into set parameters, then implementing them into a realtime programming language and audio-reactive code. Such geometric, graphical elements as cubes, polygons, and lines overlap and converge to form more complex patterns and textured environments organically generated by audio input. These 3D objects and environments are then modified in real time by both artist and artificial intelligence patches, all the while continually interacting with audio data input, thus creating layered visual soundscapes of out of intangible concepts and code.
Martin Mayer is a visual artist and VJ working under the alias sinsynplus since 2001. He studied media art at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts and is co-founder of the multimedia art duo mayer+empl, as well audiovisual crews shado sinfusion synkretistem and kopffuessler. He is based in Munich.
Martin Mayer arbeitet seit 2001 unter dem Alias sinsynplus als Visual Artist und VJ. Er studierte Medienkunst an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste München und ist Mitbegründer des Multimediaduos mayer+ empl sowie der audiovisuellen Kollektive Shado Sinfusion Synkretistem und Kopffuessler.
Bei der VJ Festival Party wird sinsynplus ein abstraktes VJ Set zeigen.
