Cinemata
Cinemata is a group of artists. We are motion designers, programmers, engineers, moviemakers and many more. Cinemata started their first visual installation in the year 2000. Since then, our needs of an extensive software were rising which couldn‘t be covered by a commercial software package. These circumstances resulted in the on going development and programing of our own software for performances.
Two of the cinemata members established the company Visonizer Gbr in 2013. They develop the NEck Mapper Software using Maxmsp, Java and C++. Each video mapped object can be handled as a single object with its own functions. The software can be controlled with MIDI or OSC like Ableton Live or iPad. Furthermore, it can be synchronized to the „Visonizer light soft- ware“ which combines light and visuals in color and rhythm.
Cinemata ist ein Künstlerkollektiv aus Motion Designern, Programmierern, Filmemachern und vielen anderen. Unsere erste visuelle Installation haben wir 2000 gestartet. Seitdem sind unsere Anforderungen an eine leistungsstarke Software gestiegen und konnten nicht durch eine handelsübliche Software gedeckt werden. Diese Umstände haben zur Entwicklung und ständigen Weiterentwicklung unserer eigenen Software für die Durchführung von Performances geführt.
Zwei der Cinemata Mitglieder haben 2013 die Firma Visonizer Gbr gegründet. Sie entwickeln die NEck Mapper Software, welche Maxmsp, Java und C++ verwendet. Jedes gemappte Objekt kann als einzelnes Objekt mit eigenen Funktionen behandelt werden. Die Software kann mit MIDI oder OSC, wie Ableton Live oder iPad gesteuert werden. Darüber hinaus kann sie mit der „Visonizer light soft-ware“ synchronisiert werden, die Licht und Visuals mit Farbe und Rhythmus verbindet.
